Waste Case #4

A Liberal Arts Education is a waste of money. Caldwell College for example costs $24,000 a year. I am pretty sure that there is better things that this money can be spent on than a liberal arts education. Instead you can go to a smaller cheaper school, like a community college that focuses on your major, where you can get the same education as an expensive liberal arts school. The only thing that is good about a liberal arts school is the the reputation and connections that can set you up for life.

  1. In a way, I actually agree with you Zack. I know that liberal arts schools are supposed to make a person well rounded, but I do not understand how. I am going to apply as an education major. When I get accepted (hopefully), I will be majoring in secondary education, and I am trying to get certified for special education. My concentration subject is biology. Is there a reason I have to take a three hour drawing class that will most likely mean absolutely nothing to me in the future. I know for sure what I want to do in life. I mean the whole liberal arts thing might be good for someone who is undecided so they can have experience in many different field which can help them make a decision on a career. I never really thought about this before; I like your research. (:
